Sleep, sleep, glorious sleep...

It's been few days since I'm back on the Irish soil and three things are always guaranteed over here...

1) Lovely people
2) Great craic
3) Bloody freezing weather in May

If the weather outside reminds you more of a Siberia than Hawaii you most probably have two choices (in Ireland at least): go to the cosy pub and sip your hot whiskey by the fire or embrace your inner koala bear and lounge at home...

If you just like me would be a millionaire if someone would pay you for sleep, my recommendation would be to get your most comfortable pj's out, make yourself a cup of cocoa and spend the rest of the weekend doing...well,  as little as possible!

Over the years of being lounge lover I tried and tested every pajama style possible, here are my top choices:

1. Essential range by Calvin Klein,
Smooth and soft as a silk, yet extremely breathable. Ohh and did I mentioned, it fits like a glove.
Available at Brown Thomas, Dublin.

Cap sleeve pajama top and pants; Essential range by Calvin Klein

2. Waffle knit thermal pj's by Munki Munki
Super cute designs and cosy comfort of waffle knit. Probably the warmest light pajamas I ever slept in.
Available from www.munkimunki.com
Rainbows Thermal Henley & Leggings by Munki Munki

3. Cotton Mayfair Sleepshirt by Victoria's Secret
Feels a little bit like an oversized men's shirt and this is what I like about it the most. Perfect for a Sunday lounging.

4. Your boyfriends t-shirt
There is something extremely comforting about wearing your boyfriends t-shirt to bed.
I would recommend to find a boyfriend who is wearing RVCA or Pickwick&Weller clothes...they tend to make the most comfortable t-shirts.
If you don't have a boyfriend, invest in oversized men's top...it might just do the trick.
Available worldwide

And for those who say "I only wear Chanel No.5 to sleep", I can guarantee you, they never lived in Ireland.

xxD.

  1. Brilliant, I especially like the last line as I used to wear only Chanel No5 but now live in Ireland!! If I can't find the guy in the last pic I think I will go for the Mayfair Sleepshirt. Thanks Daria for the great ideas...keep warm :)

    1. If you manage to find the guy from last picture, I wold give sleeping in Chanel No.5 second chance...I have the feeling he might just be able to keep you warm (even in this country)! In the meanwhile keep warm and hope for the sun..!
